Huang Ying clung onto the straps ofher schoolbag and took a deep breathe of fresh air. She wasn't really expecting all birds and sunshine when she was moved to Sumiyoshi Academy. She knew that it was the school that's produced many dangerous individuals who are now probably somewhere among the top ranks of the organisations, but, she never thought the school could be so peaceful. Especially around these parts.
Somehow, one way or another, Huang Ying managed to find herself out in the gardens and made her way to the lake. It was really beautiful here. And such a nice place to sit down with a nice book. Away from the hustle and bustle of the inner school. To be honest though, the young first year was expecting at least some sort of fight to break out on the first day of school. But everyone seemed pretty well behaved. As well behaved as children of the mafia could behave.
Huang Ying went around the perimeter of the lake and finally made herself comfortable on one of the many benches that dot the surrounding area. Plopping her bag down next to her. She rummaged through her various textbooks before pulling out a book, comic book to be exact, and looked at her cellphone for the time. There's still an hour till the next class start, no point idling hertime away when she can finish up on her story. Opening up her book, Huang Ying felt that her surrounding was getting a little too quiet, despite the sound of birds chirping and the like, and started humming a soft tune to herself.
It really is a nice day out, hopefully, nothing could ruin it.

Day one of the new term wasn't as exciting as Chun Mei had hoped.
It isn't to say that last year's was particularly exciting, but she had thought that something interesting might happen this year. No such luck. Half the day's classes were already through, and things were as boring as hell. But, well, if nothing was going to happen, she would need to personally make something happen, wouldn't she? And she did just that in her free period. Just 'misplace' a couple of things and there'd be a few interesting arguments. Start a few rumors and watch the drama that would most certainly ensue. Nothing as audacious as setting herself in the spotlight, of course. She much preferred to watch other people fight.
She did, however, make her name known. She didn't allow a single new student not know who she was. She was Chun Mei Chi, Blue General of the Xian Wu Organization, and she was not to be underestimated. She quickly established this to her underclassmen, although many already knew. It was necessary for the first years especially to acknowledge that. Didn't want them getting all high and mighty, thinking they can do whatever they want.
She didn't want to run out of fun too soon, though. It would be best to save the rest of her tricks for another day. In order to fill the rest of her free time, Chun Mei reckoned a walk around the school campus would do. She already knew the grounds well. She was a third year, after all. But, who knows, something may have changed. Besides, a calm walk was always refreshing after starting a bit of drama.
Upon reaching the lake that was near the academy, Chun Mei stopped a moment. It looked the same as it had last year, although that wasn't much of a surprise. Pretty much deserted as usual, too. But, no, there was a figure sitting on the bench a little farther toward the lake. Distinctly feminine against the backdrop of the lake, she seemed to be reading something. With a smirk playing on her lips, she approached the girl quietly, almost silently as she padded over the grass.
As the distance shortened, though, her steps grew louder, announcing her presence. Chun Mei finally reached the bench and sat down next to the girl on the side that was not occupied by her bag. Quickly scooting over so that there was a great deal of physical contact between the two, she placed her arm behind the girl a little above the hip, pulling her close. It was a bold move, but she was a bold person.
"Whatcha reading there, babe? " She said quietly into her ear, not quite a whisper but might as well be. She was still smirking, waiting for the younger girl's reaction. That was all she did it for, really. At being so close to the girl, she recognized her as a first year. Chun Mei had made an effort to memorize their faces, in case they ever managed to cause some trouble for her. This one, though, she recalled feeling unconcerned about. She didn't seem as if she would bother her. But, she could never underestimate someone, even someone as seemingly harmless as this first year.[/blockquote]

She hated it when the school year started. It was always the same run around that she expected from every other school. Kanae carried her green school bag with one hand and held her sword even closer. "You can't ever be too prepared, I don't care what others say." She mumbled the words quietly to her self as she walked across the courtyard. An annoyed sigh left her mouth as she looked around at all the other students with a relaxed gaze.
On the surface Sumiyoshi academy seemed like any other school, if you could get past the fact that the students could openly carry weapons and the occasional acts of violence that most don't understand. The blonde teen smiled softly as she walked down the street. It was the typical spring day that many would expect in early April. Kanae's attention fell on an interesting pair of girls about six or seven yards from her. By the way they were interacting it just seemed like they were friends, so she brushed it off and just observed them for a bit.
[OOC: Sorry its short and crappy guys ^^;]

((OOC : oh no, it's alright xD)) For good few minutes, Huang Ying was pretty sure that she was alone. But she was so engrossed in her comic that she didn't even notice the sound of footsteps approaching. One thing she's been told time and again by her parents was to never let her gaurd down. And time and again, Huang Ying let's the warning slip her mind. Fortunately for her, Huang Ying's very first reflex at being touched from out of no where is to immediately throw whoever that person is to the ground and subdue him. Or in this case, her.
But upon hitting the ground, what her assailant said didn't really register in Huang Ying's mind as a threat, in fact, it wasn't even an attack. It was definitely too close for comfort though, but definitely didn't call for anything like a quick throw to the ground. Huang Ying immediately got up and apologized profusely for her actions. "Oh my gosh, I am so sorry!", bowing as she apologised and then offering a hand to help out.
It certainly didn't help when she realized that the person she assualted to the ground was Chun Mei Chi, third year and also not to mention, Blue General of the Zhao Organisation. The very one that is rivaling against the Organisation Huang Ying's family is serving under. The last thing Huang Ying needed was to make an enemy of a senior of the school and not to mention high ranking member of a rival Organisation.

Chun Mei hadn't thought that the first year would be so absorbed in her book. Hadn't thought she'd be as reflexive as she was, too. Huh, it must've been a good book, she had remarked almost absent-mindedly in the hazy aftermath of being pinned to the ground. The wind hadn't particularly been knocked out of her, but it sure surprised her, taking her a moment to snap out of her funk.
It may have just been her pride, but she was rather sure she would have been able to prevent or at least counter the attack if she hadn't thought of the first year as 'harmless' or thinking that she had indeed heard her approaching. Well, she definitely showed Chun Mei wrong. Although, then again, it was merely reflexive, from the looks of it, although that wasn't necessarily a bad thing. "Oh my gosh, I am so sorry!" the first year exclaimed while bowing, then extending her hand to assist her.
After her mind quickly cleared, Chun Mei glared slightly at her attacker. If she was a humbler and a more understanding person, she would have decided that she deserved what she had got. But she wasn't, and couldn't help but feel as if she had been served an insult, perhaps only because she had been successfully dominated by someone younger than herself. If only to repair her injured pride, she decided to lead the first year on a bit.
Gratefully, she took the outstretched hand to pull herself up, but her words were harsher, a sharp contrast. "What did you think you were doing?" Chun Mei chastised, anything but forgiving. "You know who I am, don't you? How do you expect to compensate for this? What's your name, and which organization are you from?" It was a slew of questions purposefully designed to overwhelm. She wouldn't tease the first year for long, she reckoned. It would get much too boring if she prolonged it. But, for the moment, she had managed to catch the Blue General's interest.
